What's Tip Or Trick

I just thought it would be interesting to throw this out there and see what kind of responses we get. What's your favorite little cool tip or trick you do to gain that little edge on the competition, be it for horsepower, for gas mileage or whatever. I.E. do you regap plugs, advancing timing or using a certain kind of oil. Whatever it is throw it out there lets hear it, maybe its something that we have'nt heard yet and something we may all benefit from and please, no Flaming, what works for one may not work for another.

Yea, I have a unique intake mod for the 22re. I installed a cone filter and then fabricated a heat shield out of aluminum. The heat shield also serves as a solid support bracket.

Memphis, the filter is just a bolt on from ebay. $15 shiped with the adapter and all. You just pull out he air box. The only thing is you have to come up with a way to support the MAF since it usually sits on top of the air box.
