Hmmm ... if it were my truck it would be missing the various critter parts I've inadvertantly ran over and had stuck to my trucks nether regions... coon hide, poodle bow, snake parts, you know ... all that groovy stuff.

Actually, yes my retaining nut and washer fell off and 1 of the 2 bushings...
As to what is under the truck, that is actually assphault roofing tiles. I'd rather put up with gravel on my back then red ants, dirt, sand, and god knows what else....

"Not cool": Were you refering to me?
If so:
It was an accident Mr. Hayduke. I live surrounded by marsh and springs and commute 100 miles (round trip) to work and back in the middle of the night. I am being sarcastic in remarking on the critters and my crossings. I am as soft as the next guy as far as animals go. I've installed deer whistles and all sorts of lights and it works somewhat but not always in alerting critters. Just was commenting on what was missing in the picture (if it were my truck).
Hayduke? You ever read any Ed Abbey stuff? I'm sure you have. He's rather famous here in Utah. As a former archaeologist I am very familiar with the area in which he wrote and am well versed in all things ecological.

lol - the only thing splattered up under my yota would be a single squirrel that would not not be hit. I swerved, the sucker ran to the drection of the swerve, so I swerved back the other way and the little SOB changed directions... Hell if it had just stayed put it would have been fine....
