What is your average MPG on the 3.4L ?

My friend is buying a 98 with a 3.4 and he wants to know the mileage to expect .

I get around 18mpg with in my 97 4Runner a S/C, Auto, and 265/75/16 tires

My dad gets around 24 mpg in his 96 4Runner with a 5-speed bone stock.

~4 inches of lift, 4.88s, 285/75/16 MTRs, auto, etc:
17.1 MPG highway

3" lift, 285 MTR's, SC, stock 4.10 gears, ARB Bumper w/ winch = 16.5 city and 17.2 hwy.

stock w/ stock size michelins I got about 17.5 city and 18.5 hwy.

the best my 99 2wd limited ever got was 19.4 hwy.

oh, and i have an automatic.

5" lift, 33/12.5-15s, auto tranny, stock 3.90 gears, 15mpg in town.

stock, i get 18 in the city, 21 on the highway.

when i lead foot it, i get 16 in the city.

I get about the same in mine too.
When I am lucky I might get 23 mpg on a long trip with few hills.

last in town tank with auto, s/c, 285s, 3" lift =13.4 mpg. Damn this s/c is fun

I get an average of about 19-20 mix highway/city.

stock once got 21mpg
now with 33's winter gas 15.5 avg. 18 mpg in summer here

City I get 19-20. Freeway (75-80 mph) I get 19. Backroads (50-60mph) I'll pull 23-24. PP springs and 265/75s. 5speed.

I get about 18-19 mpg (city) on a bone stock '98 Taco 4x4.

The only thing offsetting your rows is your dates since some have two numbers vs one. Still easy to read.

1" lift, 32's, intake/headers/exhaust, 4.30's, 5-speed, leadfoot:

17.6 city/hwy

tracked religiously via MSFT excel and SPC charts.

2001 taco with supercharger (premium fuel) 18ish in the city best hiway 23mpg
this is at 5800 ft above sea level, driving like a granny

Stock (265/70/16 tires) 5spd
18 in town (16 when driving gets more spirited)
20-21 highway 75-80mph
