What is the standard size ball for a trailer hitch?
Guys,
What's the standard size ball for pulling a trailer (waverunner, boat, utility trailer etc)? I think it's 2" but I want to go buy a stainless one since mine has turned into a hunk of rust. Thanks. Later.

1 7/8", 2", and/or 2 5/16"
So, it depends on what the coupler on your trailer uses. The ball size will be stamped into the coupler on the trailer tongue.

I have a utility trailer and a boat trailer with 1 7/8", 2 other boat trailers and a travel trailer with 2" , and a flatbed car hauler with 2 5/16".
Might I suggest a convert-a-ball? I've used one for years and it's absolutely the shizzle! http://www.etrailer.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=IBS
