I have been looking for a floor jack that would lift the front of my runner but nothing seems tall enough. what does every one use???

Only lifts it up a few inches beyond the PP lift, but enough to make it more comfy working underneath.

I have the jack stands, but I need to get the truck up so I can get them under there.

jack it with wood spacers on the jack? dont know how safe it is but thats how i got my 32'son my old truck when i was putting in the engine and stuff.

That is how I always raise the front end, and put a jack stand under the control arm.

Gets the tires all the way off the ground if you need to change one.

I have that jack too. 2 pumps and it's at 22" or you can do like Corey under the suspension. I've done that with another smaller jack I have.

I am looking at getting the Craftsman 3 1/2 ton jack with the stands, chocks, pad, four way wheel spanner, and some other stuff for $100.00

but at sams club they have a Michelin 3 1/2 Ton Floor Jack for $59.27

I have a Larin 3.5 and its worked like a charm over the years. Lifts my rig even though its got its seven inches of lift on thirty fives. Oh and my highlift but that isnt a floor jack.

I thought about using the control arm but was afraid I might bend something, but I guess I will give that a try. thanks

use a towmotor..it will pick up the front end 6-8 ft depending on the height of the boom!

i got one from costco the other day, its 3.5 ton and goes up to like 21"s, payed 70 i think

I have the craftsman 3.5 ton like bob's. I love it. Got it for x-mas so I don't know the price.

I also use the control arm mount block as a jocking point, it gets the tires off the ground well enough.

Look at the lift ratings (tons) and the lift height. 21" to 23" are the highest ones I have seen. Sometimes they say for SUV's.

Using this one as well. If I need a a bit more lift - use 2 2x12s pressure treated lumber nailed together as a riser underneath the jack stands and the jack. This is safe as the act as platforms underneath each piece and not perched above.
