Looks great! I've become a Zaino man myself, but I've heard a lot of good things about that Griots. I wanted to get another coat of Zaino on mine yesterday, but ended up spending most of the day helping my girlfriend get a fresh coat of Zaino on her Lexus. BTW, any houses available in your subdivision? I'm looking to buy pretty soon. Later.

Thanks. I was going to put on two coats as well, but i ended up rotating my tires. When i rotate them I useually take them out in the driveway and scrub them inside and out really good, then polish before I put'em back on, so it takes a while.

There are a couple of houses for sale in our neighborhood. This house is directly across the circle form our house and is the same floor plan as our, only reversed.

Yeah, it is dome work, but it is well worth it. Next time you do it, try doing the tire rotation and wheel polishing.....that makes for a long two days..

Thanks. It might be the wheels. They are 18" Enkies the dealer had prt installed. I really like 'em especially since you don't see to many 4Runner with the same wheel.

im gotta get myself some more wax i already used a 17 dollar bottel of wax alot faster then i expected so i gonna pick some up tommorow. I was thinking about the clay??? is it worth doing to clay or not?

I can't even begin to explain how well the clay works. It makes the surface so smooth that it almost feels like silk, and that is even before you put the wax on. If you were to wash and wax it, it will feel smooth to the touch, but you will still feel a few little bumps. Those are just embedded things and the clay will pull all of those out. You can get the clay pad from Griots that actually holds the clay instead of doing it by hand, but I haven't sprung for that yet. Go for it.

The clay is definitely worth the effort. I remolded the clay while doing mine yesterday three times and you can see the crap in the clay that it's pulling off the surface. It's amazing how smooth the paint is after claying.

well if i do it i will probably get the Zaino, thats what i have been using since ive gotten the truck. I got my dad hooked on the stuff to, he loves it. Its the best set of products ive ever used.

That is an awesome wax job momo.75!!! Looks like griot's is the best. Did you wash the rig first with the Dawn dish detergent before you clayed it or did you just apply the BOS and buffed it with the PC? What was your procedures when you waxed yours? I have the Griot's wax kit also and I would like to do my Runner and Lexus and I don't know if I have to wash it with Dawn dish detergent first, clay it and then apply the BOS. Let me know if this is right?

Since it was pretty clean to begin with and it has only been about2 months since the past waxing, i just washed it with Mother's Car wash, then clayed with Griot's clay, and applied the Best Of Show with the Porter. When I took it off it was a combination of the bonnet on the porter, 100% cotton cloths, and water. I get it all off and shiny then mist the surface and buff out. The light mist of water helps spread the wax to a consistant layer. I love doing all that stuff.

Momo, those "enkei" rims are different than the ones they had on a Sport here. Nice though, what brand/size tires are on there and do you think you could squeeze a larger size (tire) ?

The size of my tires is really starting to bug me.
