Lightbulb What to do with running boards...
I have been itching to get the running boards off my 4runner, however, I don't just want them just sitting in my garage. Short of selling them has any one done anything cool/creative/fun with them after they are off?

Usually people try and make money for mods by selling them on eBay.

Can't think of a single thing they'd be good for. Maybe some sort of funky new age art sculpture or something?

Burn them

or

stick them in your yard and plant flowers in them. People do it with tires, why not with running boards too

Other than that, I'm clueless with what to do with them.

I cut up the front caps of the running boards for forward mud flaps to protect the door paint. And trashed the rest. Probably be a smart thing to just sell them if you can get $108 for them though.
