Other than the obvious TRD supercharger and URD 7th injector kit or 2.0" pulley. My plans are top end rebuild, snorkel with TRD or K&N filter. and a cold air intake for the summer time.

Also, would there be a way for me to fit a TRD cold air intake from a 4.0L V6 on the 3.4L V6? Or is it just wishful thinking?

I did the obvious ISR mod, 6" Deckplate mod w/K&N filter, 1" poweraid throttlebody spacer...and sea foamed the fuel, vacum lines and oil...every single fluid has been flushed and refilled as well...every fluid...

Future plans include swapping mufflers to lower backpressure and increase power mpg a bit...and thinner lighter tires (same height) for decreased rotating mass...

and no a 4.0 intake will not fit...I am almost positive...you have a 3.0 anyway don't you not the 3.4??

If you're wanting a snokel for high water it seems to me the last thing you would want is a "cold air" intake because they use an open to the elements air filter. For high water you'd want an enclosed and sealed air box.

Nothing much really. 4" deckplate mod, been through may different airfilters, stock, TRD, Amsoil, back to stock and now AFE Pro Dry drop in. Im also adding 3 oz of Auto Rx to my oil changes to keep things extra clean.

I really don't get why people would want to mess with bolt-on's or internal work with this truck engine. No offense to you BORT, but are they really necessary? Your tow capacity will not increase. You will go from a 20 second truck to a 19.9 second truck. And your wallet will be lighter. What's the appeal? Sound? Being able to tell people, "yo, I got Spoon headers, APC high-flo cat, and a motec-system exhaust." "Werd? That @#$ is flyyy."?

My truck is a truck that I take camping, hunting, fishing, biking, etc. All does fine with the bone-stock 3.4L V6.

Good for you, you're boring. jk But seriously the most power you could get would be the obvious, comprehensive tune-up, headers, intake

He's right. Besides the s/c, none of the other mods you listed are "improvements".

I did the K&N drop in filter and like the way it sounded, hated the way i had to clean the Maf every oil change.

Did the deckplate and hated the sound, also hated the bogging of the motor in the low end.

What I have really enjoyed are good NGK spark plugs and synthetic oil. My truck starts and runs so smooth now. Future mods I'm considering are the Grey wire mod and the differential breather.

i've got a TRD polished billet oil cap and the HP gains were astonishing!

i've done a bunch of the same crap i've read on here about improving HP and throttle response, nothing has worked and i'm not gonna drop tons of money on a supercharger for the 2 times a year i might mash on the gas and have fun. i've changed my oil to Amsoil synthetic and just done routine maintenance with OEM parts and it suits me fine. however, i might beautify my engine soon by powder coating some parts just to make it look nice. you know the saying "a clean car runs better", so a pretty engine should SCREAM!!!!

if you dont OVEROIL it you wouldnt have to do this. same w/any filter that gets oiled
this is why they get a bad rep.

ive had the FIPK on for ~85Kmi and have cleaned the MAF ONCE, and not because it was fouled

not a siginificant addition, but at 1/2 price it was hard to pass up. works well in conjunction w/the functional scoop.

Having done all the bolt-on mods i can say that with the 3.4 either go big or go home. Before supercharging all the bolts on added a little HP but nothing worth the time and $$$ i spent on it (the short ram intake though is nice, it added the most noticeable power increase and makes the engine bay much cleaner).

But forget the other stuff.

If you want more power get a supercharger or live with what you got.

Not true if you are talking about a superchager. I don't have an offical slip but a stop watch says that my truck is now in the ~14's without the 2.2 pulley or being tuned which is right in line with gagets numbers from his truck. And those numbers are faster then my RX7.
