Wet Okole Tan Color Match

OK guys, its time for me to order some Wet Okole's, what color have all you guys found to be the best match for the tan interior? I'm guessing either the #17 Tan or the #235 Mocha on their site. Also, I'm guessing that the type of seat I have in my 2nd gen is just a bucket seat with headrest, nothing else special about it so I just chose the most basic seat they had.

Anybody who has ordered these for a 2nd gen can give their input, I just wanna be sure I get it right.

IMO, neither will match exactly and the tan will show grime. With your black rig, I thought you'd go all black. Jjust my .02.

Call them to order and be able to go to your truck while on the phone to verify stuff. Don't waste your $$$ on the tan/mocha crap. Get all black or a camo or something. Than tan stuff will just show dirt. I'm gonna get all black ones when I order on down the road.

Have heard of people being unhappy with Wet Okele/neoprene seat covers due to color fading and showing wear/collecting dirt/dust, just something to consider

EDIT: If your seats are just worn you might consider Great Covers/GT Covers, I bought some from the local Toyota dealer for the same price as www.gtcovers.com website (~$125) and didn't have to pay for shipping. They are awesome and fit perfect with my sport seats and have the "cut outs" for the lumbar and wing adjustment, the fabric and construction is very high quality, in fact the fabric is supposedly the same as current OEM. My interior is blue and I got some blue seatcovers which are lighter than the original seats but look very good with the blue interior, they even have back seat covers which I didn't get. I'll have to get pics of the seats someday and post them up, they look very good.

With my windows being pretty heavily tinted and the fact that I am a freak about cleaning my car, I'm hoping the seats will stay in good shape. I'm going to order the care kit they offer that has some UV protection spray and cleaner and stuff with it so that will help too.

The more I think about it the more I want to go all black, it will match the huskies and steering wheel cover and middle dash...hmm...some pics would really help me decide!

Just get some Line-X and you'll never have to worry about them again! I'm just going to Line-X my whole rig inside and out and just be done with it! Only thing I could think of is that all black will be HOT in the summer...but being a devil I guess you can handle it!

Yeah, the heat isn't too big of a concern to me...not only because I'm a devil...but the remote starter helps a lot.

I was going to Line-X the interior of mine too but when I pulled the carpet to do the sound deadening there were a bunch of wires and harnesses and things that I wasn't sure how to protect so...I'll just live with the carpet for now. Maybe once I get my new car for graduation the Runner will turn into a trail only rig and I can mod it even more...but until then, I gotta know my limits!

Fink they are going to wonder if you have the Sport seats or not. If you have the little knob on the side to adjust the lumbar support them are the sport ones and the covers will have a hole for that knob. Mine were just the plain jane ones. I've had em for two years, covered them in mud several times, spilled countless beers...er I mean sodas in them and they are still going strong. Febreeze is an amazing thing...hahaha. I am going to take them off and wash them real good this spring though they are due!

I just ordered the Mocha ones. I got the universal fit. I am not too worried about if the color matches exactly or fading. I just want some durable covers so the hole in the drivers seat bolster doesnt bug me anymore.

Joey,

I do have the lumbar support but its not on the cushion part of the seat, its on the plastic part, do they still need to know about that? Maybe I will add that in the comments section.

Marc P,

After some consideration and talking to a couple people to get their opinions I think I am going to go with a tu-tone look, Mocha is looking pretty promising.

How long does it usually take for the swatches to get delivered? I'm pretty impatient, my old seat covers are just plain awful!

Thanks for all the input...any more color ideas would be great!

The colors in the pictures are not always exact either, I got the Charcoal and it is actually a little lighter than the sample, But i am very pleased with the color! and they are very comfy! Well worth the 225 bones. The fit the seats perfect too!
