Well I got my rig back from the Stealership today
My A/C was failing on me...and I've got to have A/C in Texas. Plus I thought I have n exhaust leak, plus I had them check my il leak. I figured it was the power steering pump...and I was right. They quoted me $2617 to fix it all. Turns out my expansion valve was stuck, and the dryer was out. ($430 parts and labor) The exhaust leak turned out to be the the EGR valve or some part of it had come unscrewed completely and was hanging on some how. Don't ask... They replaced the screws an some thing else. ($90 parts and labor) They wanted $700+ for the power steering pump...They said it had a bad gasket. Then like another few hundred for labor. Then they wanted to chrge me $125 to flush the trans, and some stupid for changing the timing belt and some seals. Jesus....I told them to fix the A/C and the EGR, and be done. Cost me $657.17 for that. Dang that cash would have looked much better as an ARB bumper, but oh well. Life goes on. I think I'm going to crash early tonight. I'm getting up at 6:30 to go MTB riding. Later guys....Oh and How about them STARS!!!
