Too many variables to say right now, so fallback to "it depends".
How long (timewise) since your last change? What is your typical trip length? If less than 10 miles in chilly Pittsfield, it may just be normal grunge found during Winter operation. What brand and weight oil do you use? OEM Toyota oil and air filters? Changed with the oil every time? What does the coolant look like? Have you owned the rig since new? Can you easily pull a valve cover to look for sludge buildup? When was the PCV valve replaced? Is the EGR working properly? Anything besides steam coming out the tailpipe at cold start and after warmup?
We'll narrow it down, and it'll probably wind up being normal, but those are a few things to consider for now.
