valve cover bolts loose

my valve cover bolts keep getting loose. Does anyone know why? I tighten them a couple of months ago to the factory specs, but no dice. I probably should replace my gasket, since oil is leaking slowly. Not sure if its the gasket or the bolts, anyways, ive got 201K on the motor....maybe i should be complaining
