Yeup... _but_

If you take it out of your own truck (versus use a doner) then you'll have to factor in the cost of alternate transportation while the truck's down (rent a car?), and the cost of quick-shipping to/from the east coast (I think it ships at 15 pounds), and the cost of replacing the tranny fluid that you'll lose when you drop the pan (about 5-6 quarts).

All totalled, it ends up being more like $1000 for folks on the west coast if you need it back soon. Most of that is shipping costs:

Code:
Shipping from 98021, U.S.A. to 07470, U.S.A.

                                                               Rate (US$)
FedEx First Overnight®
8:00am or 8:30am the next business day to major cities 127.66

FedEx Priority Overnight®
10:30am the next business day to most cities 95.91

FedEx Standard Overnight®
3:00pm the next business day to most cities 91.26
Remember to DOUBLE those numbers since you need it back soon as well.

Yeah... so, $1000 is a reality for the VB work.
