I want to be able to use my arb compressor for filliing things, i know its not good for long periods of time, but i am talking about using it mostly for things ilke bike tires. I know i have seen an article somewhere that has all the parts needed to hook this up but i cant seem to find it, maybe im just stupid. Can anyone help me with it?

bump. i dont feel like getting the ARB kit, i have lots of miscelanious parts laying around and was wondering how some of you set it up.

since i only have a single locker, you think i could just plug a disconect for the hose right into the other hole in the tank.
i dont have the manual for the arb, so what kind and size threads are the fittings.

Not sure. I think the center was 1/4 NPT and where the solenoids are might be 1/8 NPT. Not sure my manual is at home.

thanks anyways, i would think i could put the fitting in the spot for the second solenoid just fine, or i might just do how you did, so i dont have to re rig it after i get my front locker.

The fittings are BSP. ARB recommends using an BSP/NPT adaptor to avoid damaging the threads. I used 1/4" NPT fittings with the ARB pump-up kit and it worked but after a couple changes to the set-up I could tell the fittings were starting to strip out.

Hey GRNTACO, how did you mound the ARB compressor in there. That is the exact same place I am going to be mounting my compressor, we both have 4cyl engines, and was wondering how you did it. Did you just screw through the wheel well and bolt it up or do you have a bracket made? Also would you mind taking some pics of the mounting? Thanks a lot.

I doubt it. Best bet would be to call ARB USA and ask them. They are great folks.

BTW, it's BSP and not BTP (brain fart on my part).

I've heard of folks using 1/4" NPT in the center port, but you gotta be careful not to strip the threads (and only fit it once).

just made a trip to tractor supply, they had the right T fitting and QD for the air hose. easiest $20 ive spent. now i just need to find an airhose to reach the back tires.

I went through the wheel well and used fender washers to keep those little bolts from ripping the fender. I think I drilled 1 hole and used 2 that were there.
