Update on my '00 4runner with pics
(I posted this on my origianl thread but could not modify the title so doing this so it comes up as a new thread)
Quick update, got her all up to date on maintenance (never had any tune ups till yesterday when I had the first one done at 99k!).
Heres the list:
Plugs
Air/fuel filter
T-belt, H2o pump, all seals
Frt brake pads/rotors
Trans service
Brake system flushed
Radiator flushed
PS flushed
Both diffs and transfer case serviced/new fluid
Everything torqued and greased.
I also took off the running boards, the front bug deflector, rear wind deflector, trimmed rear mudflaps, took off OEM roof rack, took all emblems off.

nice truck of course but I did have a question on the removal of the TOYOTA badge and wondered if was held on by posts or just stock on.
What are you going to do with the holes from the removal of the "T" badge from the back?

You are on an OEM killing spree! Looks good, I actually like the running boards and emblems though. (and the roof rack) What kind of hitch is that? It's sticks out too far!

Nice job. I didn't get a "before" picture, but im guessing it looks better. When I took off my runningboards I was very happy, but still hate the gas tank so visible. When my truck becomes a trail rig I will definately just swap it in for the spare tire.
Wanted to say all your truck needs is maybe 1-2'' lift, and some nice tires.
Then I would want to steal it (jk) haha.

Haha...Ya, OEM killing spree. I'm a fan othe subtle, stealth look. I just like the way it looks plus it attracts less attention in the city from cops and thieves and it never hurts when someone can't tell the cops the make and model when calling you in for driveing somewhere where you're not supposta
All badges held on by insane glue that was so hard to get off, I ended up just using a razor blade, took me an hour and I ended up leaving scratches behind that I still have to touch up/buff out (rain) or have my paint guy take care of when it goes in to get the bottom match painted. I'm leaving the two holes on the tailgate alone, just putting silicone in them like I filled the roof rack ones with.
I thought the hitch was just an oem one, everything else on the truck is oem so no reason to believe that is not either.
Thanks to craig's list I've sold the rack and bug deflector, waiting on a guy to come get the running boards and rear deflector. That stuff paid for the new Yakima towers I needed that I also scored on cl's! And, to think I was just going to throw that away!
Yes, lift is on the list, deciding on options as far as brands, price, suspension and/or body and what height. Then Terra Grapplers.
