Unidentified Hole in my bumper
There is this weird oval hole in the middle of my bumper (rear) any idea what this is for? It is a 1987 4-runner. It is a Scooby Doo Mystery.

It's so you can use the tool to "unwind" your spare tire mechanism.

Interestingly enough, I was behind a 92 yesterday and noticed even with the rear-mounted spare, they still have it too.

Thats where you wind up the extra motor so that the truck will go faster uphill.
