Underdog's performance upgrade kit
How difficult is the installation process? If I take it to a mechanic, how much labor will they charge or should charge?

you will have to pull off the blower in order to install the injectors.. and the FTC has to be wired in... gadget from www.gadgetonline.com is the co-owner of URD.. he sends along instructions on how to install everything...

I was trying to keep it around 1K.
S/C $2399 shipped
LSD $247 shipped
Boost Gauge C2 $200 shipped
labor on s/c $560
labor on lsd $360 plus parts
labor on gauge $160 (took mechanic longer because it was an electric not mechanical)
and after tax.. about $4,000... all that for 7lbs, better traction, and a pirty blue light...
if you mean 1K for everthing. urd kit and labor.. probly not gonna happen... you could do the walbro fuel pump yourself... and the injectors too.. just taking off the s/c is a pain in the ass.. u need new TB gaskets.. and your probly gonna need a new gasket to seal the s/c to the engine...

CTB- I will be in Charleston most of the time in the near future but will be back in GWD every other week. AFP-- The garage guy is a friend. I doubt he has ever done this job but he shouldn't have a problem. Should he??? He was Honda's top mechanic for over a decade in NY before moving back south. If you knew any of my buddies, you wouldn't let them change your oil.

well those honda engines arent really as hard to work on compared to the 5VZ.. but i guess a motor is a motor when it comes to simple shizz like injectors n stuff... but like i said.. the s/c is going to be the biggest pain in the ass ever... but everything else should go smooth like a baby's ass... you gonna have it dyno tuned after the install??? let me know what kinda numbers your putting out... also let me know about your egt's... thanks
