Unable to select gears

Hello, my father has a 96 T100 4cyl long cab, unfortunately he said that this morning the car was making noises and when he finally got home it would not go into gear. I switched out the slave only as the master was recently switched out not too long ago. I tried to bleed it and the pedal just stuck to the ground when pushed down, the thing is, no ammount of bleeding will do anything and in fact the liquid in the master does not move. When I am pushing the pedal down though I do hear a faint pssh noise next to the pedal...is this normal or is there a leak somewhere I just don't know of?

try removing the line at the master and see if it squirts fluid when pressing the pedal, if not the master is failed

they used to sell aftermarket masters with plastic pushrods that would fail

also confirm the pushrod is connected at the pedal

if the hydraulic system is functioning then it could be that something failed in the clutch lifting lever inside the bell housing
such as blown clutch parts jammed or broken lifter or pressure plate

You mean the shift fork?

OP, on hydraulic parts such as brake and clutch stuff, its best to use OEM toyota parts only.

Got it scuba, it seems my cousin was able to fix the issue, I'll have to ask him what he did next time he's around since no parts were actually purchased...in fact I think he used the old master that we had had replaced with the newer one lol o_O
