yeah I do, but I got an email from him yesterday and he's doing fine. He should be back in a couple of months, but he's not too sure.

He did tell me that he sure is missing the forum though

Hey Corey, is there a way we can all get a message to Joey M.? Let him know we appreciate what he's doing and the sacrifice he and his co-workers make on our behalf?
Or how about... how about pooling some money and sending him some Yota tech gear??? Just a little "thank you"??
Anyone??? Thoughts?

You can reach him I'm sure by PM'ing him here from the forum.
His account is setup to email him when he gets a PM.

The last time I received an email from him he was using one of those Internet cafes, so he has access from time to time.

I mean honestly... who'd ever believe Joey's eyes were really that color of red?? He's wearing those contacts that change your eye color, right?

Mike -

I'm guessing you are a brother? Toyota's run in the family? There's no cure for that.

Man you guys are awesome!! Mike that's a great pic of Dad you and I.. Don't think I've ever seen that one. Got an email to check out this thread.. Got a few minutes to check it out before it's off to sleep again. Been flying my butt off over here but I can tell you it's well worth it! For anyone who wants to send a snail mail letter email my mom at lesliep76@hotmail.com and title the subject Address request or something. I'd put it up here but don't want to for security reasons. Don't want anyone sending me some anthrax or something. Thanks again for all the great comments.... oh boy do I have some mods and reading to catch up on!!!!

Joey says Hi to Everyone !!

Hello everyone, I have heard so much about this forum and the great people in it from my son. I have visited this site many times---as Joey sends me the links to check out his Toyota from time to time. ( I've visited alot !! )
The e-mail he sent this morning with a link to all the posts about what you guy's wrote. Reading what others have to say about my son---well, it's about the best thing a Mom can read.
I have been hearing from him a few times a week while he is "deployed". We're very thankful he is able to keep in touch. It's also great to be able to pass on to him how proud and thankful we are that the USAF has people like him that are willing to do what they have to do.
I'm sure it's easy for you to see how blessed I am to have Joey for my son !! Boy---the stories I could tell.....lol
I see he posted my e-mail- I will probably not post as much as Joey---but will pass on what I hear from him to the forum. I do have an address for him also.
Once again, it's great to see so many thoughtful and supporting people. As you might guess----this is not easy for me to have him there----but I am reassured when I think of how much he loves his job---and the fact that he does it so well. The song "Proud to be an American" became popular when Joey was 11yrs old...he told me the day he heard it---Mom---I'm going in the Air Force.

It's nice to hear from you Mrs. Myers.
You can be assured our thoughts & prayers are with Joey as he does his Job for the Air Force.

It is nice that Joey sent you the links here also of the update of his 4Runner.
It is an on going hobby with many of us, as you can see by the rest of us who post here.

We look forward to your updates on Joey.
I also look forward to meeting Joey one day after he gets stationed state side.
I am in WA. state, and hope to show Joey some of the places where I take my 4Runner out to get fresh air.

Joey has also contributed a lot to this forum in the way of technical articles if you ever get the chance to browse our Tech area.
