U Joint going bad ?
started noticing a small vibration a few days ago but now its a little worse i know my cv's are gonna need to be replaced ...but i don't think that's the problem its most noticeable at above 35 under power all the way to 60 but if i push in the clutch it goes away and if your in 2nd and your slowing down it shakes pretty good

i hope its the u joint and not something i cant afford to fix right now it has a little click if u listen for it so that's why im leaning towards a u joint

Park the truck and block the wheels. Put the vehicle in neutral. Crawl up under your truck and grab the drive line near the u-joint with both hands. Attempt to move the shaft either up or down/side to side depending on the location of the u-joint cross bearing and see if you feel any movement. If the u-joint is worn significantly you will feel the movement and may even hear the contact of the bearing surface in the u-joint. Check both front and rear u-joints for movement. Never have had an issue with a u-joint in a 4runner but I did in my old first gen Bronco. If it is really worn to the point you can hear the clunk-clunk of the u-joint, you will be able to feel the movement of the u-joint when you try this. Like was mentioned the sound is predominately when you are slowing. Centrifcal force helps to keep this noise and movement to a minimum when the shaft is spinning at higher speeds. When you are slowing to a stop you will be able to hear the clunk-clunk and a final CLUNK when you stop. Gravity works! Good luck

Why would you let it get that bad? You knew 2 weeks ago what was wrong....
Anyways, take that driveline out and get it to a shop so they can replace it before you explode the yoke. Or, buy a good used driveline.
