Gen 3 Info Help..
Ready to buy a Gen 3.. Had a 1985, best 4Runner ever.. Now have a 1990, good ride but V-6 is hard to work on and rust is ready to take over, must sell while I have something to sell..
Two questions on Gen 3.. when did Toyota convert to newer (non #12) Air Conditioner.. and is the type III 4 cylinder as good as the old 22R? Will I have problems with a 4? there are so few of them..
Thanks
B-R

Thanks calg3...
I'm off to look at a 4cyl, 1 owner 1996...
Let's see how the cards fall in this hand (price, condition etc) and see if this is the right deal (don't like the color but $$$ talks here)
Not looking to do major mods to the 2.7, just want a long runner, ok on gas, easier to work on (oil changes on the 22R are exponentialy easier than the 3.0) ...
Thanks again B-R
