From the title I hope this will be an easy thread and will be of use to others who are contemplating the Tundra Brake Upgrade.

After doing the search, I felt like this very well could be a worthwhile upgrade. So, I went to my fav "Used Parts Superstore" and spent my birthday wandering around like a kid in Disneyland! I picked up a few odds and ends and I found a couple of Tundra's. Well the brake upgrade question popped in. They had a couple of trucks but then I had the question that I had not seen before so I searched again just to be sure. There is nothing really addressing the 3rd gen vs Tundra year to year comparison. So just what year Tundra calipers/rotors will fit what year 3rd Gen 4runner?

For my truck, I have a 98 SR5 w/ OEM 16" wheels. The trucks I found were 2000, 2001 and 2005. I have seen the specs here listing some as being 199mm and others being 231mm. Ok, so which ones should I use? Are these numbers year dependent? If you have done the upgrade post your year Runner, OEM equipment and what year you upgraded to along with either 199 vs 231, wheel size etc. If I get enough feedback on this thread I can compile the information into a single spec sheet that would be a huge benefit. And I get the infor I need as well.
