Tundra coils netted -.5" lift...WTH?
Hey, all-
I recently switched from OME 881s up front with Pro Comp ES3000 struts and a 1.5" Cornred Spacer, to Tundra 4WD coils with new Pro Comp ES3000 struts and a 1" Cornfed spacer. I haven't liked the Pro Comps but they were a $20 hold-me over until I can get a pair of OME struts. Going by what everyone else has said about the Tundra coils, I should have gained 2.25" with the coils alone and another 1" with the spacer, right? I measured from floor to fender before I remove the OME coils/struts and got 38". After the Tundra coils with spacer, I'm now at 37.5". What'd I miss?
Do I need a longer strut? Who makes a strut that will acommodate a 3.5" lift?

The TRD (2wd and 4wd) Tundra coils net 1.5". 3/8" spacers net another 1/2".
A 1" cornfed spacer would give you 2.5" of total lift with the TRD Tundra coils. You had 1.5" form the OME 881's and 1.5" from the cornfeds, giving you 3" total. Now you have 2.5", so you lost a half-inch. Sounds right to me.

When you put it that way, it all makes sense.
Thank you!
