Trnasmission mount adjustable?

Transmission mount adjustable?
We have a '96 2wd 4Runner with a 3.4. We just replaced the tranny mount but noticed that there is a large bolt that runs through the bottom up to the part that bolts to the tranny. Is this adjustable for some reason? Is an adjustment required after installation?

I'm interested in this also. When I bought my 00 4Runner about 7 months ago, I noticed as I drove on the interstate, the shifter moved forward & backwards ever so slightly as the suspension travelled... If they are adjustable, I wonder if mine is loose

Don't think so, if it's like the older trucks, that bolt is to limit how far the rubber can stretch. That way the rubber is less likely to be stretched beyond it's breaking point.

It freaks a few of my friends out... we drive and the 4WD lever moves around from time to time haha
