Trim panel removal

How do you remove this trim panel on an 87 pickup behind the window without braking it?

it pops out... its clipped in there... open up the window and get a screwdriver and unclip it... if the idea is that you locked your keys in and want to get iside that way, then it wont work... there is nothing to get at once in that section.... its onle an inch or 2 deep and the pillar is thick and hallow....

the reason i ask is because i am going to be painting the truck and i like to have everything stripped and get good coverage..
