TRD Cat Back questions
Thinking about picking up a TRD Cat Back from trdparts4u.com and I was kinda curious if I needed to pick up any special tools or extra parts before installing....
I notice I'm going to have to remove and a sensor, I'm assuming the new catback will have a place for this sensor. Other then that everything else looks straight forward....only thing i was curious about is whether I'd need a gasket for the connection or does it come with one...I've noticed some cat back kits dont come with a gasket and want you to use the old one I guess....I wouldnt have a problem picking up a gasket if I need it though....
Thanks...oh, I tried search and got this error
"Network Error (tcp_error)
A communication error occurred: ""

I just installed the TRD catback on my 1999 runner and it was very, very easy. The catback came with everything you need including 2 new exhaust flange gaskets, 1 o2 sensor gasket, o2 sensor studs that screw into the new exhaust pipe, 2 rear most exhaust flange bolts and nuts, and the hardware to reattach the "resonator" box thingy. One thing to note is that my runner has a single cat so I cannot comment on the dual cat set-up. However, I am sure that it is complete as well. One more note, the fit is excellent - the hangers all line up exactly and everything fits better than stock.

I've had good experiences with trdparts4u.com...I got my skid and trans cooler through them....but i'll try somewhere else if i can pick it up less expensive...

I found mine for $460.00 on toyogobo.com (toyota of goldsboro)- - However, I went into my local dealership and they matched the price to within $20 so I just bought it from them and took it home the same day.

Exactly. Even with your local Midas welding it on, you are looking at under $150 for everything.
