Transmission Solenoid Question

No, not this guy again! LOL!

This is a question for those experienced Toyota mechanics. I was just reading a thread about a guy who needed to replace his shift solenoids because while they were fine when cold, once the fluid reached operating temps, the resistance went out of spec. Is this an uncommon occurence or does it actually happen more regularly than I am thinking?

I am speculating that I might have this problem because my tranmission shifts perfectly fine when cold and when it has only been at operating temp for a few minutes but once it's been at full operating temp for a while, the shifts get kinda jerky. Also, when I slow to a very low miles per hour and hit the gas again, it feels like it is in too high of a gear initially and then has to downshift real quick when I want it to just go.

The throttle cable or kickdown cable as some call it is adjusted correctly. The fluid is filled to the correct level (b/w hot marks at full temp and measured on a flat surface w/ motor running in park) and it looks nice and red.

No CELs or blinking O/D light. It never slips or does anything scary. It has been driving like this for over a year and doesn't seem to be getting any worse either. Anyways, If any experienced techs can chime in on this for me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again Yotatech!

P.S. Over 200k mi on the motor/tranny but it runs great other than this. Especially after putting on the new TPS.
