Transfer Case Issue Possible Post Front Brake Job?
I took my '99 4Runner in to get new rotors on the front (my husband changed my brake pads but I did not get my rotors turned and my steering wheel started shaking while braking). I was told I needed new rotors. After the exchange my front end started shaking pretty hard when braking. I took it back to the garage that changed my front rotors and brake pads. After they looked at it for a day the verdict was that it may be something to do with the transfer case and recommended that I take it to a Toyota house. Also, while my truck sat in the driveway overnight it created a puddle of fluid (dark and oily). Any thoughts on what this might be?

Second Opinion
I took my 4Runner to another garage and they were able to see that my rotors were getting way too hot and that the rear drums needed to be cleaned and adjusted. They are turning the front rotors and cleaning up the other garages mess this morning. I learned my lesson about trying a new garage when you have one you like already.
