tranny huh?

I have a 99 tacoma=3.4/automatic w/full TRD package plus the SCer. I did a full detail yesterday inside and out including engine bay. Drove away and all was good, stopped by work then drove home-no problem. Within an hour went to leave and at first truck kept dying with a weird idle. Figured i got something wet so revved it up for a minute and all was good. Ran and still runs fine but left from home and tranny is acting up. Won't shift until almost redline even if it do it with the shifter and then once i get to third i drops back down to idle if i take my foot off the gas. Which leaves me revving it up to catch the gear again. Took it out on highway today and still the same. Shift points come at 35,75,95 miles per hour in between there i driving high Rpm's. Don't know if the moisture had anything to do with it or just coincedense.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Scanned current forums and didn't see anything like this so please HELP

OK TPS(throttle postioning sensor),i'll check that when i get back down there tomorrow night. Just changed that six months ago. I'm pretty sure its cable. i'm just thinking if its something that got wet it should of dried already, i drove it like 150 miles. but i guess if the moisture trapped -its trapped! thx

Yeah, I'm thinking it's moisture too. Did you pressure wash the engine bay? How's your trans fluid look and the level?

The TPS may be in need of adjustment more than replacement.
