Question Tps

Hi everyone!!!

I have a 91 4Runner V6 2WD 98K miles, and I need my TPS to be adjusted. I found some links on this web site, but I still don't get how to do it, so, does anyone know a mechanic in Los Angeles, who can do it for me? Or how much would it cost at my local dealership?

Thanks

C'mon guys, I think we can offer a little help. Try your local stealer. I'm not sure how much they will charge to do it. Maybe only a half an hour of labor because it isn't all that hard to set.

They'll charge a full hour to reset it cause thats what the book says on it. It isn't that hard to do but for someone who don't know how it's like climbing everest. I would take it to the dealership and let them do it. They know what they're doing(sorta). Just don't let them talk you into anything else.

4runner 91

Hi,

I've a 91 4runner 4wd and the last week only revolutionize up to 2500 rpm and also when I acelerate arrive only up to 35 mph. I already change the EGR valve and my mechanic says that probably the TPS valve and I want to be sure that is it that, does this go over to you?

Regards.
