Toyota Owners are Great..Thanks Rob / I learned a lesson today
Cruisin along on a trail outside Idaho Springs and I pass the Winter Mantianece point. By myself, with 2 gallons of gas, a shovel, and my air guage, I think, this shouldn't be too bad.
I get about a mile past the no grooming section, and all of a sudden, the truck starts going towards this drop-off. The snow is about 2 feet deep on one side of the road, and I'm stuck. I guess the ditch is magnetic or something
I spent about an hour shoveling, having no luck, when along comes ANOTHER TACOMA! I was so happy! He's like..."looks like you are stuck.."
Gives me a push, and I'm free. We chitchat a bit, and come to find out, he browses YotaTech and TTORA once and awhile. Just wanted to say it again, THANKS ROB, good man.
I learned that even if the trail is easy looking, always bring atleast another person, if not another rig.

thats a fact.
If you’re going wheeling alone, and this is from personal experience take the proper gear with you! I take at the minimum, my cell phone, CB, tow strap, shovel, and at least a manual "come along" winch. You never know when you would need it. I actually got stuck a few weeks ago and didn’t have the damn thing with me! I could have hooked up to my front tow hook and around a tree and got myself out of the trench. I got stuck way out turning around. I didn’t have my hubs locked "the only negative to manuals" because the trail was clear. WELL when I turned around I dropped off the edge into a trench, then by the time I locked my hubs it was to late, my front wheels were on solid wet ice. I sat still to the point in 4H in drive my wheels were turning while the truck was idling! Anyway glad you made it out!!
