Tire size effect on MPH reading info.

Ran across this on the web- calculates effect on your MPH gauge going from 265/70/16's to 285/75/16's.

Funny... I thought I was going slower.
Turns out I was going faster?

I guess that's because I drive 65 on the freeways when everyone else is ripping by at 90

Yeah, figured it was the most common tire change we do, probably be doing it myself at some point.
