Tire fitment - One of the lucky ones

Been reading TONS of posts on fitment of 285's. How much lift, trimming, etc... My 4Runner is purely street driven (I am a 4 wheeler, but that task is reserved for my jeep) so I wasn't worried about rub under full flex etc, etc, etc

Well, I was able to pick up a set of 3000 mile old Sequoia wheels and got anxious to get some rubber mounted up. Went with 285/70r17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Figuring that I would need to do some sort of lift or trimming, I had had the tires mounted and balanced this morning and got busy investigating what it would take to make them work.

The answer... in my case.... is NOTHING. The suspension is completly original.
No rub, nearly an inch of clearance at the control arms. Running boards do not interfere.

Yes I feel lucky. Having the taller 99 is paying off. Couple of pics to indulge myself:

I know it's close and would be problematic offroad, but it works for me.

btw... my old wheels and tires, and a second set of wheels and tires are for sale. PM me or see my post in the for sale section (I need to update it tonight for the other set of tires and with better pictures)
