Timing belt help

I just had my timing belt, fan belt, ps belt, ac belt, tensioner, crankshaft seal and rear brakes done at the dealer ($669.00 does that sound about right?). Now when i drive at high speeds 60-80mph if I let off the gas just a little it makes this dragging noise? but if i take my foot off the gas all the way it doesnt. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was my engine fan. My engine fan has a broken wing but it never made this noise before. They said I need a new fan. Does this sound right?

Sounds more like the dealer broke your fan... or are you saying it was already broke? If your truck didn't do that before, it's THEIR responsibility to fix it.

Sometimes stuff coincidentally goes bad and has nothing to do with the service performed. It may be rare, but if the noise has NOTHING to do with the service done then it is the owner's responsibility. Here's to hoping it is related and the dealer takes care of it.

I had a similar problem when I got my truck back from t-belt service (different noise though). I took it back to the dealer. It was related to the service, so they fixed it no questions asked.

I would think if the fan is broken, it would be off balance. Wouldn't this cause a vibration or shaking of some type? It may not be causing the new noise, but I would think it should be replaced asap.

yes the fan has a piece broken off of it on one of the fins. It never made this noise before though.
