Thoughts on 94 4Runner with the 3.0L

engine? It has 64000 miles on it. Any Pros and Cons or thing's to look out for?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Check with Toyota about whether or not the HG repair has been done. If not, also check with Toyota if it is still under "recall" to have them fix it without cost to you.

Sounds pretty cool. That low of miles on any Yota motor is good. Definitely look into the headgasket issue.

Oh yeah something else to consider. By 1994 they also started offering 2wd 4runners. Just thought you should make sure it is 4x4. They have the same frame.

i dont think the head gasket would have gone with that few miles...im closing in on 116 and haven't seen a hint of any sort of engine problem...everything in the motor is origonal on mine..even the timing belt..haha time to get that put on

now my t-case....thats another story

Not true, 2nd gens have always been either 2wd or 4wd.

yes, please check if the headgasket have been replaced.
and even if it has been, be ready for it to go out again...

I bought my 94 with 72,000 miles on it, and toyota had compleated the recall and replaced the whole block at 60,000... and now at 105,000 I just lost the headgasket again...
