tail light chrome detailing
I've got a 95 4Runner with a very small nick out of the edge of one of my tail lights. I don't like the clear tail lights, and I'm not really interested in the Alterreza lights that won't be out for a while anyways. I am not about to buy a brand new set of lights just because of a tiny chip, but it'd be nice to cover it up if possible. Is there a set of chrome or black plastic strips that could be mounted over the edge of the lights?
The only solution I can think of would be a black plastic tail light cover similar to the ones that have the Chevy and Ram logos if you know what I am talking about. I haven't even seen those types of covers for my generation of 4Runner. Anyone got any ideas on how I can solve this problem? I think tomorrow after work I'll stop by home depot and see if I can find a suitable material that would be suitable to use. I'd need something rigid, but maelable enough to bend around the curved corners.
Anybody got suggestions?
