Tacoma stock height?
Hey gang, my trucks suspension was beat when I got it, so I'm curious How much higher than STOCK, as opposed to 8 year old stock, I am. I don't figure it changed much 95.5-04, so can someone tell me the stock height, front and rear (at the wheel-well would be cool, or bumper) of V64WD (xtra cab if makes a diff) tacoma, anything from those years. The rear starts out higher, right?
(BTW, I did do a search, found heights for a bunch of gens of runners, and on older truck, but no tacos).
spanks,
Ian

You're in luck!
I just found this the other day.
I went to the local dealership a few years ago and wrote down what the stock height (peak of wheel well from ground) was on a double cab V6.
Driver front - 35"
Driver rear - 36.5"
Passenger front - 34.5"
Passenger rear - 36.4"
I didn't get a chance to check out the tires' PSI so these may be off what they are supposed to be. Hope it helps you out!

Thanks Tacoma Dude!
Thanks man, sounds like tire pressure was a little low. Mostly I wanted to know how much higher the back is stock-I'm about done with my lift and it looks like it will be about 1.5 to 2" higher in back (without the cap or spare or hi-lift), so it seems like the front to back ht. diff will be close to stock.
I'm okay with the back being a little higher empty, I haul stuff quite often (lumber, quikrete, firewood, dogs, etc) and it'll be nice not to bottom the springs out everytime I load up.

I don't know about everyone else but I like seeing the back end a little higher than the front end. Funny since my rear has leveled out and I'm pretty much even now.
