tacoma leaning/crooked
hi guys,
my 02' tacoma prerunner is lifted about 2.5" to 3" by swayaway racerunners upfront and about 1.5" add-a-leaf with some bilstein 5100's for the rear. I've taken the truck with this setup once to the desert for some mild off-roading.
I just noticed a day or two ago that the right(passenger) side is about 1/2" to an 1" higher.
the lift setup was installed about 4 months ago.
I checked the front coilovers and they looked evenly cranked.
Its hardly noticable unless pointed out. Just bothers me that my truck is uneven.
Is this just a case of the springs sagging?
does the rear leaf packs eventually sag too?
air pressure are even on all tires.
should i be checking anything else?
please advise.

The factory springs are side specific, either longer or more spring rate, which means there is a little more weight on one side of the truck. To compensate you need to crank one of the SAW's either up or down to match the other side, the eveness of thread showing does not have bearing on how even the overall height is.
read through Steve's SAW install page, he says he has "2 3/4" of threads on the passenger side and 3" on the drivers side for 2" of lift."

I also have a similar problem with my 90 4runner. After i put in the rear coils (OME) I noticed that the passenger side was almost half an inch higher (bottom of fender to center of wheel) than the driver side. I'm not sure if that would be a body mount or spring issue. Is there any way to adjust that? Once I get the manual hubs for the front I plan on crankin the T-bars to even everything out, but will that help with the rear end?
I also checked the body mounts and they seem to be fine. I also have a 3" body lift in there.
Do you think it would be a good idea to put a spacer in the driver side spring. Do they make half inch spacers?
I don't mind so much, its not that noticeable, except when you look at the nerf bar. I had to cut the excess bolt off the rear center body mount to get the nerf in, and the bolt sits almost right on it, but on the passenger side there is more clearance. Does that mkae sense? Hopefully there is something that can be done.
