Swap help needed in Central Florida... Please
Hey Guys, i need a bit of help. A couple of days ago, my '90 4Runner started knockin a rod, and its not getting any better (obviously).... i'm limping it for one more day, and then i am putting it down for a couple of weeks.
I am a Honda guy at heart, and am quite capable of turning a wrench/fabrication/etc... , but i know nothing about these Toyota's. I'm looking for someone in the Central Florida area that is capable of performing a swap (aquiring engine, and installing). I have searched plenty long in the last couple of days on here, and am basically set on the 7MGTE swap, as it'll be more efficient than just installing a reman'd 3.0 back in, and it isn't too terribly expensive in comparison to other options.
If someone could either contact me, or recommend a good person to go to, it would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately i just don't have the time to learn a new car right now since i have a shop to run, and i don't have time to do the swap on my own truck at the moment either.
Thanks much!

A good reputable shop in Jacksonville is called Fox. They specialize in rebuilds/swaps and I've heard nothing but good things about them. For straight up reman. engine swaps, there is what I believe to be a franchise called Dr.Motorworx. I found some numbers:
DR. MOTORWORX
POMPANO BEACH FL
(954) 977-7227
MOTORWORKS
LONGWOOD FL

Hey there... thank you very much for your reply. I'll definately be giving them a call. There are a few different options that i can go with on this. I've located a twin turbo 7MGTE, and will likely be going in that direction
If anyone else has any suggestions, please don't hesitate to let me know
