Suspension Question

I am thinking about swapping out the shocks on my 1998 4Runner. I don't need (truck is already to tall for the wife) a suspension lift, but I was considering the OME shocks anyway. Has anyone tried running OME shocks with the stock springs? I'm wondering if the shocks will be too long for stock springs. Mike from Xtreme Off Road thinks they'll be too long, but I was wondering if anyone has tried this and what your results were?

Thanks for the help.

Seems like Mike would be the ultimate authority I do know folks run Bilsteins with stock springs. New Toyota shocks would definately improve things.

Good luck

Might ask old Steve Schaffer and see if he knows anyone who runs those.
I can tell you the ride will be VERY soft and squishy feeling....which is why most run the bilsteins.
