will the 4wd springs fit on a 2wd?

Nevermind, I just looked it up, 97 4Runner.

They are stock rear coil springs. Not sure if they would do you any good though. You may want to go with the whole set up. A search will reveal everything you could ever want to know.

Give us some more info. What are you looking to do? What would you like the end results to be? Do you want a lift?

4wd springs defintely give some lift to 2wd vehicles in the earlier generations, not sure about 3rd gens. They are too fancy shmancy for the likes of me. You could probably get 4wd springs all around, or 2" lift in the rear and stock 4wd in the front w/ t-bar lift to clear 32s or something....

i have had the recall done on rear suspension, it still rides rough
i just want a smoother ride because i drive around alot for my job

4WD or aftermarket springs will be stiffer/rougher.

If his suspension is bottoming out on small bumps like mine was the stiffness of the 4wd springs will not be a problem.
