SuperLift TruSpeed 02 4Runner ?

Ok so I got a truspeed calibrator, the directions seemed straight forward and I started the installation got it grounded then got it hooked to power,,,, then? well it says to find the grey/blue wire driver side ECU, cool I thought no going under the truck like on other installs. Though I found 3 wires matching that description on 3 seperate plugs on my ECU. Holy˟˟˟˟ I thought what next?

Yeah you were supposed to go and look last week but I never heard anything. Like I said there are 3 wires 4 plugs on the ecu. I have all the tools necessary to accomplish this but just need to know where to attach this damn thing.

Thanks again

Mine ('99) would only only work when run through abs ecu in the passenger side kick panel. It's a little hard to tell at night, but the wire I tapped into comes out of the bottom of the abs ecu in about the middle of the rat's nest of wires located there and it is either gray/blue stripe or white/blue stripe.

Now I remember the first time it was done to that wire it did not work, but I had the wires from the Superlift backwards, swapped them and it's worked ever since. You can change it with the key as you ride. I set mine by GPS.

Hope this helps.

Sorry for being late, but I'm just swamped from every angle with stuff to do right now.

So apparently Im color blind. Of the 3 originally stated as grey/blue only 1 is the others are white/blue hmmm thats a little easier so the wire hookup is no problem and Im going for a test drive right now, lets hope it goes..... crossing my fingers.

No way! So this thing really works! I am the only one that I know with no problems with the until thus far and instructions were actually accurate! Wow way to go SuperLift you got it right for once .. at least that I know of. Installed pics.
Magic wire!

Before tucking in.

After tucking or hiding.

Which one of the ecu plugs is that grey/blue wire on? I've had a calibrator since last summer which I haven't got around to hooking up yet. If it's that easy maybe I'll get to it this summer.

Lets see, on my box on the 2002 there are 4 plugs 2 black and 2 white, and from the bottom up they go Bottom white-black-white-top black so its the middle white. Make certain you have good lighting, I recommend having a buddy drive while you calibrate. Mine is very close Id say withing 4/10 on a mph off + so I'll tinker some more tomorrow. But no ˟˟˟˟ it is just like the instructions say it is! From all the post about this I've read from here and other boards these thing have bad directions not the case for me.

Good to here. Which end of the grey/blue wire goes to the input of the calibrator, I'm assuming the signal goes from the ecu to the speedo, is that correct.

Finally got mine installed this weekend. Once you know which wire to use it really is easy. No more mental calculations to tell how fast I'm going is nice. Thanks for the help Aaron.

Glad I was able to help, seems like there are no write ups on this anywhere or at least not enough people wanting to correct them. I know you can use the Dakota Digital sr5 but not with abs.

I actually did use the Dakota Digital one, that's why I was asking which was the input and output. It's working fine so far.
