Hey, since teh truck is down anyways, might as well have everything go, right? Stupid truck has a mind of its own.

Past month or so have been crazy with this thing.

-Coolant leak: stopped on its own...waiting for it to dump coolant again.
-Brake fluid dry: dumped some in, its still full, but where did the other fluid go?
-Wheel seals gone: still havent had time to do these.
-Rear shoes arent worth a darn any more.
-Front pads are screaming.
-Front rotors are warped to hell.
-Door got kicked in.

Now:
-The steering wheel makes a scratchy sound when turning. PS fluid looks fine. The sound isnt exactly loud. Its sorta like a slow air leak, very soft.

Might I add all the issues started a few hundred miles before 50k, and its now abotu 50500.

My steering is making a similar sound, but I never hear it since I am hearing impaired anyways. It's driving my gf nuts. Unfortunately she does not know the value of what noises sound like and when it occurs so I cannot diagnose it myself w/o the help of my techs at work. BUMP!

my truck was making a similar steering noise...found some damn styrofoam between where the wheel and the column meet that was making the noise..
wtf?

Found my problem today... the right front mudflap I put on was folded inwards so everytime I made a turn it would rub causing the grinding noise as my gf would say. I took it off and she didn't hear it again.
