Stubbs slider pics
Hi all,
Here are a couple of pics of my Stubbs sliders. I actually cut an inch of both ends to make it fit since I have the front mudguards and flares on. I'm real happy with the workmanship. Too bad today's sunday because I won't be able to have it welded on till a welding shop opens up. I had duty yesterday on the ship so I brought it in with me and used the plasma cutter to cut up the ends and welding machine to weld the endcaps back on and also the 3" x 3" mounting plates.
I'll be prepping them up for painting today.

Chris,
That's a nice pair of sliders you've got. i was at one point contemplating about building my own based on Brain's drawings but I just don't have the time to do it. I would have been nicer if I'm on deployment so I can have my guys weld it for me. We have a nice welding/fab/lathe shop onboard the ship that i can use while at sea. Then i could have just mig or tig welded them. But ,oh well. I'm almost done. just have to find a welder in the next couple of days.
