I've noticed as of late my pickup making a strange noise mostly when I am turning left (sometimes when turning right). It's kind of like a "clunk" and it feels like it's coming from around the front left of the truck. I suspect something loose in the suspension up there. The truck is an '89 4x4 with Aisin manual hubs and stock suspension.

Anyway, what's the first place you guys that know about such things would look for a problem? I've checked out the front end and nothing appears noticably messed up.

Sounds like the CV joint maybe??

It may be the steering stops! If they dry up it makes a scraping sound when at full tun. Put some grease on them!
