Stock 99 coils now, which coils should I upgrade too? Suggestions?

I have a stock '99 4runner and i know that i already have the highest available stock coils that toyota produced. After reading alot of this site, im unsure of which lift would be better for me since im already sitting higher than other 4runners. My plans were to either use the tundra/LC coils or OME 881/890's with OME shocks. One of my main concerns is the actual amount of lift i would get since i am already higher up than others. I plan on purchasing 285/75/16 maxxis bighorns this week to fit under the new lift. Any suggestions from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It depends on what you want for a lift amount.

The Tundra/LC lift is advertised and been tested for use with a certain amount of extra weight on the 4Runner (read: bumpers, sliders). With the Tundra/LC kit (Sonoran Steel 1.2: top of page) and heavy aftermarket bumpers and sliders I am getting ~3.5" of lift in the rear and ~2" up front. Without the extra stuff I can't tell you what you will get for lift amounts.

If you are looking for just a bit more than what you already have take a look at the Tundra/OME 890 setup (Sonoran Steel 7.2: bottom of page).

I've been thinking of just getting the ome 881/890's with ome shocks because i don't have 1200 bucks to spend on just my lift. So im assuming if i get the all ome lift, from lets say 4x4connection, i wont need anything else, correct? I was thinking of buying maybe the SS adjustable trac bar, SS parking/e-brake bracket, the diff drop spacers, and the extended rear brake line at a later date; would that be ok?

I would get the e-brake bracket for sure as mine needed one with 891's. If your planning on wheeling it at all I would get the diff drop spacers as the OME shocks are very long. Without the adjustable trac bar your axle will shift slightly to the right, but it is not a huge concern. You get what you pay for with the SS kits though.
