Steering rack bushings question.
I just placed an order for Steering rack bushings for my 1996 4Runner.
Can anyone tell me if I am going to need alignment after installing new Steering rack bushings?
Thanks in advance.

You won't need an alignment but you might find the steering wheel will not be exactly centered after the bushing replacement. I did mine 2-3 months ago and now my steering wheel is very slightly off when the road wheels are straight. I guess when I had the truck aligned last time the old rubber bushings were worn and the rack had shifted slightly. Now with the new poly ones the rack is back where it should be. Not a big deal, but some people find it annoying.

So where do you put your jack stands when you need both front wheels up at the same time?
