Starting problem

Starting problem
After 13 years of flawless service, my 95.5 Tacoma 2.4L has developed a reliability problem. When I hit the key, the instrument cluster lights are bright, but there's the slightest click and . . . no cranking. If I turn the key off and try again, it'll start. I've replaced the battery. I've been told there are solenoid contacts in the starter that are prone to eventual failure.
Is this the problem and how easy is it for me to do in the driveway?
TIA,
Doug

Thanks, Scott (and others)
I've got the truck up on ramps. Scott, I printed off the walkthrough that you referred me to, i.e., "starter contact repair" on 4x4Wire.com.
Question: I've got a 2.4 liter in a 2-wheel drive Tacoma. (I guess it's a F2R . . . that little workhorse engine Toyota's had such success with for many-odd years?) The walkthrough is on a 3VZE 4Runner. Aside from probably not having to remove the wheel and inner fender, what else might be different in approach?
And is the starter really that little thing the battery cable runs to? It's so small compared to 'Merican cars.
Thanks again, Scott.

Help please
Can anyone give me another clue on this? I've got the driver's wheel off and can get, sort of, at the starter. But I only see one bolt and, for the life of me, I don't understand how anyone with an adult-size hand can get in there have at it all.
Has anyone done this on a 2.4L four banger?

If yours is a 2wd Taco 4 cylinder its a 2RZ-FE, starter contacts are more than likely the culprit.......
