SRS light...Possible New problem????
So i posted on here about a week ago about my SRS light on my dash all this sudden staying on. I have not been able to pull the codes yet, cause im broke till my next paycheck, but i noticed something weird the other day....My horn didn't work after some jerk completely cut me off, and it did the day before the light came on. On another note, I was driving today and i all this sudden heard a loud WA-POP inside my dash, it sounded like it was under the cd player console. I cheked it out real good and didn't see anything abnormal. opened the hood and didn't notice anything. Whats weird is i was driving on a very smooth road. Any ideas? airbag? thanks!!!

The pop i heard came from somehwere behind the dashboard, sounded like it was in the middle where the A/C console and Cd player are. There is no other problems besides that pop i heard, and the horn not working. I won't have the money to take er in to toyota for a couple more weeks. and i dont know anything about pulling codes myself. Thanks for tryin to help man!

PRE−CHECK
1. SRS WARNING LIGHT CHECK
(a) Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position and
check that the SRS warning light lights up.
(b) Check that the SRS warning light goes out after approx.
6 seconds.
HINT:
When the ignition switch is at ACC or ON and the SRS
warning light remains on or flashes, the airbag sensor assembly
has detected a malfunction code.
If, after approx. 6 seconds have elapsed, the SRS warning
light sometimes lights up or the SRS warning light
lights up even when the ignition switch is OFF, a short in
the SRS warning light circuit can be considered likely.
Proceed to ”SRS warning light circuit malfunction” on
page DI−471 and DI−473.
2. DTC CHECK (Using diagnosis check wire)
(A) Present troubles codes:
Output the DTC.
(1) Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position
and wait for approx. 20 seconds.
(2) Using SST, connect terminals Tc and E1 of the
DLC1.
(B) Past troubles codes:
Output the DTC.
(1) Using service wire, connect terminals Tc and E1 of
the DLC1.
(2) Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or ON position
and wait for approx. 20 seconds.
In section A-2 the SST is just a jumper wire. So is the "service wire".
