Split Second FTC-1

Would anybody happen to have the settings for their Split Second FTC-1. I have a supercharged '96 4runner with 305 injectors, headers, 9 lb pulley, fuel pump, and ftc. The only problem is that I can never get the fuel setting right so it'll run rich then i'll switch the setting then it'll start pinging. Could anybody be of any help and give me an idea of how the fuel map should look.. Thanks

Hey Ivan,

To properly tune your vehicle you will need the proper testing equipment, ie OBDII scan tool to tune your close loop and a wide band sensor display unit to tune your open loop... this is all explained in detail on URD's website... Click on link below...

http://www.gadgetonline.com/U-Tune.pdf

All fuel Maps will differ from one vehicle to another-- none will be exactly the same... and you cannot use a fuel map from one 4Runner to another... every truck runs differently regardless if you have the exact same MOD's or components installed--You need to tune to the way your truck runs best...
It is very time consuming especially if you are inexperienced...But with trial and error and much patience you will be able to get your truck running at its peak...

It actually took me 3 days to have mine tune to where I feel my 4Runner is running as strong as I want it--I was hesitant to do it on my own but like I said by trial & error you will be able to nail it down...

Read thru the tuning guide-- it is very straight forward and very detailed... you can't go wrong... and if you still have questions or uncertain about certain procedures you can contact Gadget or Brian at URD to get their expert advice...

Hope this helped you some...
